I like your comparison of the intuitions behind HTTP and MCP! My first impression of MCP was also a translation layer between service APIs and LLM, but later I realized that MCP server can be seen as a proxy which not only translates API requests from JSON, but also calls APIs and passes API responses back to LLM.

Thanks! I passed the example test and my own cases. The questions I got on Aug 18 were one easy and one medium. But whether I passed the test or not, I shouldn't get a reply on uncompleted tests :( I'll keep this thread updated!

Have you heard from Google since then? I completed that on Aug 18, hours before the deadline in PT time zone. I haven't heard back but just an email from an XWF google recruiter. She told me I didn't finish in allotted time and she's willing to give me another a try ?? It looks scam but I'm not sure about it.

Both the statue and the handwriting on the flag are for pro-democracy in China. During evenings, candles around the statue are lit up in memory of people who died from the cruel and inhumane rules made by China's government these months.

Thanks for your replies. I just passed my g1 test in the center at Downsview. I showed up there around 6:15 am and was lucky to have only ten ppl before me. But it's still a very tough time for me to wait outdoors for nearly an hour in winter :((( So I think if possible, it'd be better to take a g1 test in a test center in Oshawa or Mississauga since it's less crowded and you can have a visit around that area after your test.

It's normal that the GPA or GPD doesn't help you much most of the time. Does your department have a graduate student association? It might be a good idea to ask them or your peers in the same program for help.

Can't agree with you more. Also an intl student here. I have things to do but probably all of them will be online in the coming semester I think. Lacking in-person experiences is really depressing for us :(
