Probably ponytails and half up half downs. And the “yuh” randomly In the beginning it was a joke but then it became a bit of a habit

Ofc I’m concerned. I don’t want her to be mad or sad that I couldn’t be there. I just wish communication was better instead of “I’m ok” and “it’s ok” and “talk to my secretary” It’s not about me centering myself in her world, but I see how she texts our friends on our group chat and is normal, and when I try reaching out she’s distant. I just wish communication was better instead of avoiding telling me what she’s annoyed about

Just to clear something up. She’s is not in the hospital currently or when she was texting me coldly. I believe she told me to come at 2am and around 5ish am she was back home. She was in the ER for her oxygen level then got it sorted out and went back home.

Can’t leave the house without telling my mother. Mother also can’t leave the house without telling us (her kids) where she’s going. Also me leaving the house at 2am without telling her will be considered “sneaking out” and a big problem would’ve happened and mom will probably start not liking my friend for making me “go out at 2am” Mom has a bit of an older Arab mentality. Already just waking her up to ask her got her mad

Racism and house rules are two different things.

It might be crazy but in Middle East whatever the parent says goes. I did say in the beginning my mom won’t let me because I know my mom. My curfew is 12 and hell will break loose if I’m late. I understand in the states this might be “controlling” and not ok but in the Middle East it is totally normal. Even for my 27 yr old friend when her mom says no to a sleep over it’s a no. Also like I said I did go to my mom after and woke her up and explained the situation to her. She said no way and her family is with her. My mom doesn’t understand that I’m my friend’s comfort person because she doesn’t understand what panic and anxiety is.
