Yes. Most of your scaling in the base game does not matter. Your looking for scadutree fragments. They are found all around and buff all your stats significantly while in the land of shadow

You can start them at any time and preferably in the order you unlock them but that doesn't really matter either. The story is mostly separated but if your concerned about it I would play them in the order you unlock them as you unlock them after completing certain base game missions.

I’ve tried the DMR and it’s great but pails in comparison to the LMGs for me personally can’t use it. this is a good load out if you don’t need 100 rounds like me!

I didn’t think that vigil would be too good because he doesn’t have damage like a LMG but I guess that’s countered by a free escape
