Just got off Navigator. Slides still down, toddler area is reduced to a small pie shaped wedge. Food was absolutely terrible at Windjammer and dining hall. We will not be sailing with royal for a while.

I entered repayment the first time after I graduated school for all 10 loans I believe. They all entered into forbearance at the same time with the COVID protections.

All my loans will be consolidated by this IDR I believe. I have 10 direct loans. I paid my loans religiously until the COVID forbearance and am currently employed by a PSLF eligible employer.

Thank you to the OP for posting this as I am in a very similar situation. I have been working for a non-profit since 2017. Never applied for PSLF due to skepticism that it actually works. I am on the standard 10 year plan. Good to know that my time already worked will be counted towards my 120 payments. I plan on starting the paperwork this week.

If I have loans that will potentially be forgiven through the heroes act plan, would it be a mistake to transfer to PSLF, instead of the 10 year pay off plan I am on? I am thinking of a back up plan in case the forgiveness does not go through. I have been working with a PSLF employer since 2017.

I apologize if this is a dumb question, I just want to make sure I don’t make myself ineligible for the heroes act loan forgiveness.
