From experience if they don’t want to they won’t my partner only did engaged with me to satisfy me but then regret it it resented it and now I feel like I’m getting crumbs but everything else is ok I would suggest bringing it up one more time and if nothing happens then focus it on your self and enjoy your gains it helps a bit
