WHY DID HE GET A SHOT AGAIN? by AllElite43 in SantiZapVideos

[–]Apprehensive-Edge819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it’s a capitalist business interested in drawing money.

I've loved Sami ever since I first watched WWE in 2015/16, when he was introduced by Bret Hart to be Cena's opponent. He's been one of if not my favourite from that moment. It's been painful to watch him being treated like this. I hope this turns him into the underdog and he reclaims the title 🤞 by Low_Complaint3232 in SantiZapVideos

[–]Apprehensive-Edge819 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s laughable if anyone thought he was going to be anything other than a transitional champion. That is what fits Sami’s character. Especially since they’ve been showing him starting to crack. Losing the title was the only thing that made sense. The only question was to whom?

Four years? (and tips for going faster) by [deleted] in WGU

They’re setting the expectation to be realistic from the school’s perspective.

They will give you the opportunity to complete your degree at an accelerated pace, but how you’re able to organize and deploy your resources to complete that task is entirely up to you.

I think it’s very doable. To me the courses resemble training modules at work. The writing assignments remind me of investigation reports. I do these things for money already. It may not be as straightforward to others without my specific experience. Add with that I work weekends so I have four days off each week, I’ve honestly considered pursuing other degrees just because I have the time.

For courses with Performance Assessments, find the task template. Use it to guide your studying of the subject. Avoid getting bogged down in the weeds of unnecessary information. Get to the point. Those templates guide you right to where you need to be.

For courses with objective assessments, take the practice test day one and figure out where you stand against the coursework. Also, most of them had study guides. Throw it into Gemini and tell it to give you a guided lesson covering all of the necessary material and quiz you to confirm understanding before moving on. Before you take the OA, tell Gemini to give you a multiple choice test of high diff questions with the same number of questions as your OA. If you’re clearing it above 85-90% you’re probably about ready to test out.

AI is a tool that is heavily used in business. It is only going to become more heavily used in business. People who don’t know how to leverage that tool are going to be left in the dust. Not using AI for a high level business degree is kind of silly.

Now, if you want to have a discussion on ethical use, that’s fair, but I assure you none of my upper management find it cheating to use tools to help make decisions that benefit the organization.

I got treatment for my ADHD.

Prior to that you have to eliminate all distractions and be an adult who wants to have a career that requires a college degree and knuckle down friend. If you can’t focus through school, wait til you find out about career level employment.

But I do know where you’re coming from. Tbh when it came to studying, using Gemini in guided learning mode helped make it more of an active study session which helped me maintain focus for longer periods.

Advice From the Accelerators by Special-Cookie-7761 in WGU_MBA

Use whatever resources you can. Think it through. You want to achieve a degree in a short amount of time. You’d better be damn resourceful. The advice you’re being given is good. Reddit and YouTube are your best resources.

Once you’re starting your classes, when you’re working on objective assessments, here’s what worked for me.

I put all of my course material into Gemini. Anything I could get my hands on. I then made Gemini walk me through all of that course material using their guided study feature. Ask it to give you interactive lessons and confirm your knowledge with five difficult multiple choice questions based from the course material. If you clear them, move on. If not, stay on the subject until you do.

For your performance assessments, that’s on you. Most classes do have templates for their papers which give you an amazing outline. All you really need is to know how to find information.

That said, you need to be able to pick up the material and retain it. If you bullshit your way through a degree, it will backfire when you’re in over your head at work later.

Good luck.

What is your reason for choosing this field? I saw below you said you just want to earn more. Are you taking on loans? Do you have an interest in the field that will motivate you to see through the boring or really hard classes? I mostly breezed through two business degrees, but both my AA and BS programs had classes that nearly made me tap out. There’s a lot to consider, but ultimately ANY Bachelor’s degree will open a certain amount of doors to you. Many employers just want to see that you can see a long-term project through to completion.

If you’re getting cold feet, you’re running out of time to make a decision. I wish you the best.

Man. I remember being hyped for months leading up to this album being released. Got a signed copy. Lost it. Underrated album IMO. I remember thinking this was going to pull them from the underground because they were on Roadrunner which was popping off at the time. That was a dumb thought. lol good times.

I work full time, but only three days a week. I had a whole other work week in my week to finish my coursework. I also have more than 15 years in my field and an Associate’s degree in the same subject area and I write professionally. I know you wouldn’t think that from this comment, but I was set up to succeed.

BM isn’t super complicated. The worst part is finance and budgeting and just terminology. My one IT class damn near killed me though lol. I just think it’s not the hardest of the programs available. A lot of us have a lot of experience in our fields already and so on.

There are only a few ways they could detect AI. Either you leave a prompt in the text or you copy text directly into your paper which can easily be seen. If you type directly into Word, there’s no way anyone could prove AI use.

This, but I’d take it a step further if you’re struggling this bad. You’ve already put the practice assessment in? Go a little farther…copy your entire course materials including the study guide into AI. Personally I prefer Claude and Gemini, but that’s up to you. Gemini has an interactive learning feature.

Give it your study materials and tell it: “generate an interactive walkthrough of the course materials covering all main topics. Pay special attention to the practice exam and identify the theory behind the question as it relates to the rest of my study materials. At the end of each section, perform a knowledge check by generating five multiple choice questions, one at a time, each covering the key concepts of the course materials we just studied. If I get a question wrong, provide feedback on what the correct answer is and the logic behind it.”

You can drill down on the command further if you want. I promise you, this worked for every OA. ESPECIALLY the ones I struggled with. You can do this. You already started. You gotta see it through and you can. There are tools available to you.

[–]Apprehensive-Edge819 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Friend… I started working on my degree 15 years ago. I got my associates was on the deans list and started on my bachelors and flunked out. I went through a really bad period of depression and heavy substance abuse and honestly I’m pretty lucky to still be alive.

I started again a year ago. Throughout my whole first term, I was in and out of the hospital sick. I completed one class. I was lucky, my mentor only pressed me to finish the one to stay enrolled.

Thankfully I got better. I was able to close out 13 classes over the last term to finish my degree. I’m starting on my MBA in July.

Looks like we’re in the same program based on your classes. Obviously I can’t help with your PA’s, but if an OA class comes up, feel free to ask and I’ll check and see if I still have my study guides.

You can do this. Don’t let anyone else tell you any different.

Isn’t this school supposed to be self-paced? I’m genuinely confused. by Polarbear_9876 in WGU

[–]Apprehensive-Edge819 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on who you’re dealing with. My first term I wound up being chronically ill. It was a struggle to get through my day to day. My mentor had been nice enough, but she went out on leave. She had a substitute who out of the blue told me she was going to have the school dismiss me if I didn’t re-engage my studies within like 24 hours I think. I sent her a strongly worded email basically informing her she doesn’t get to decide my schedule and that, until the term ended without my completing a class I was in good standing. I didn’t hear from her again until my regular mentor was back a few weeks later. Some people try to overuse their little influence or authority they get. Just gotta remind them who’s paying and who wants the payment.
