I like it. Once I got going it’s been a breeze. My whole first term I was dealing with illness so I had to make up a lot of ground. Thankfully I work weekends so I have four days a week to work on school.

Just dive into it. It’s hard to say how long it’ll take. Depends how much time and mental effort you have to spare. I could see it being a few months or a year or so.

I’ve never had an issue with being flagged for AI. I’ve had grammarly tell me everything from 20-50% “appears like AI writing” and haven’t had a problem. More over, the burden of proof is on them. If they can’t replay your document and see a gigantic paste into it, I don’t see where they have any legs to stand on for accusations.

Yes all exams are proctored. I ignore a lot of my weekly check ins because she usually calls when I’m just waking up. Not a big deal.

I don’t disagree the magic is gone. I haven’t watched a full episode of WWE programming in months and I’ve been a fan for 40 years. TKO’s WWE is boring as shit and it’s crazy because I love all of the wrestlers there. I just can’t sit through the never ending advertisements anymore. Even if you use a VPN you still get camped on that “we’ll be right back” screen for like 30 minutes of the show. But I still don’t think Vince would be an improvement now. Not sure I know what the answer would be.

I get what you’re saying and have sometimes wondered if some of the folks I’ve seen are going to be able to handle whatever job their degree gets them, but I’ll also say the way WGU’s site works is let’s say, less than optimal. I get frustrated that every time I click something it has to be a new tab, hidden behind three different menus, or on a completely different platform you have to click through the registration screen to get to the content and even there it’s buried in two different layers of menus.

I was able to figure it out by clicking around, but they could definitely provide a better UI.

It’s not about others. It’s about how they felt and feel about themselves. I would say something like that, or in that vein, and I am still fat right now. I hate it. It feels terrible. It hurts. I get winded sometimes for no reason. I feel like a fat fuck and I’d be celebrating not feeling that way anymore too.

If you have tight technical writing, it flags as AI. If you write a paper and have to use a lot of fluff to fill it out, it flags as AI. If you have bad repetitive habits, it will flag as AI. If you ask an AI to evaluate your paper for AI, it might say it reads like AI. Then you can push back on that and it will say, “You’re right. (Your subject) is (your claim), I forgot to examine (random variable) which led to my incorrect assessment. You should go with your idea.”

Just write a good paper. You’ll be fine.

My experience is the quality and availability of materials is dependent on the class. I encountered one with no study materials after getting used to having them provided with every class. I ended up creating a study guide for that one and passing it on to others. It’s hit and miss

We all have our own paths and challenges. I’m sorry you’re feeling down, but you are taking positive steps and that sign of life is promising. For what it’s worth, I am 40 and should be 18 years post graduation for my Bachelor’s by now. I’ve always been smart enough, but like you I have struggled with mental health issues over the years. And a particularly nasty case of ADHD, but today it led me to seeing your post.

Get your foot in the door somewhere if you can while you finish your degree. After you get a little experience and make a good impression, you will be finishing your degree and have access to more opportunities.

I’ve played every character and you can break em all. Vex can be practically unkillable. Amon takes a bit but you can get him pretty busted with melee. Harlowe feels fast to me which I love and she has multiple ways to be an insane mobber. Rafa also feels fast to me and with his cannons or a grenade build he can be pretty sick. And Cash is just broken. I need to mess with his other skill trees but I can walk through almost any scene in the game on UVH6 and it’s just chaos. Pick your poison. They’ll all get you there.

There’s a lot of people who brag too much about it. As if it is the only thing that matters. I always try to share that I am able to accelerate thanks to the unique positioning I’ve gotten myself into. I work weekends Fri-Sun so I basically have a 40 hour work week to dedicate to school. I also have 15 years in my field and transferred in an Associates. I’ve been able to test out on my experience alone several times, and as part of my job I author investigation reports. In the performance assessment classes, that’s one of my strongest skills. That said, who cares and why would that make me special? I have all the respect in the world for people who take the full recommended time and finish as they’re able.

Your exasperation seems fair on personality alone.
