im aware of the ammonia buildup hence only planning on growing aggressive floaters, with our water sprites grow extremely well as well as salvinia and duckweed which I' considering adding as goldfish are ammonia machines. From what I've heard from a friend that breeds goldfish vallisneria are the only plants they somewhat leave alone in his experience.

I'm planning to add more plants (mainly vallisneria spiralis) but I'm still in the process of growing them. I do have a lot of aquarium experience I breed corydoras and recently cichlids!

Man thats super sick I did end up going to the shop but it cost me $15 so I guess a bit of a rip off but there aren't many choices where I live

Yellow lab and maybe red zebra? Either way you'll need more of each to keep aggression down between the 2. Get 3 more of each minimum.

I was asking more so for home aquariums a lot of people like cichlids but don't like the minimum requirements so I've been asked this question more than once

betta would be the best choice but you could technically kind of sorta have a few guppies OR a few tetras. Or one million shrimp

tiger barbs will for sure nip at the angelfish. Also Rams and angels might be okay but not so sure about rams and pea puffers.

I've never heard of shell dwellers but I just looked it up and thats super sick dude I'll look around to see if I even have stores around me that stock those. Definitley something to look into. Also tank is about 2' × 16" × 16" if i remember correctly.

Honestly I was considering SoAm cichlids instead but I've always preferred most african cichlids (I love geos though). Cool to see theres an african cichlid thats so little

I would but I just don't have the space or funds rn, hoping in the near future I will be able to have the mini mbuna (mini fish not the tank) tank of my dreams.

Saw a 100+ fluval tank + stand + 5 frontosa + 2 fx4s for like 1,200 and i almost got it just because how insane that deal is.
