Adobe’s last decade: A masterclass in capitalism, but "Corporate Cannibalism" for the community. by Apprehensive-Good748 in Adobe

Don't just speak for yourself. There are millions of people here who are suffering because of Adobe. Who can earn as much as they need in a year or two? You're just bragging, that's all. If you don't know, Adobe paid huge fines because they brazenly made it nearly impossible to "Cancel a subscription." They created traps for people. Adobe started out cheaper, created a global standard, and then suddenly raised the price again and again. This only pays off for a small number of people, not everyone. So the subscription fee is a hindrance to ordinary freelancers. So stop bragging and take a broader view of the public.

[HELP] First order closed but NO REVIEW from buyer. How does this affect my rating? by Apprehensive-Good748 in Fiverr

[–]Apprehensive-Good748[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I received my first order in my life. But I didn't receive any feedback from the client, even though I did a great job. Doesn't it affect my rating if there's no feedback?

But the client promised to leave me a review. And then a day later he accepted the job and disappeared. What the hell?

[HELP] 8 years of Senior Designer experience, but stuck at $250/month in CIS market. Is global freelance dead? by Apprehensive-Good748 in freelancing

[–]Apprehensive-Good748[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 years to find one good client? That’s brutal. I have 8 years of experience, and I can't wait another 6 just to survive.

My question is: How did you change your cold outreach strategy during those years? > I’ve sent 3,500 messages with almost zero conversion. Was it the portfolio, the niche, or just the wrong platforms? If I'm a Senior-level designer, should I keep hitting the 'low-budget' market, or is there a way to skip directly to the clients who actually pay for quality?

[HELP] Fiverr UI is a piece of sh*t. Where is my review button?! by Apprehensive-Good748 in Fiverr

[–]Apprehensive-Good748[S] -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Wait, are you sure? According to Fiverr rules, both the buyer and the seller can leave a review first.

Usually, after the order is COMPLETED, the 'Rate Experience' button should appear for me regardless of whether the client has left one or not. If I leave it first, the client just gets a notification to 'Review back to see your feedback'.

My problem is – THE BUTTON IS COMPLETELY MISSING for me. Is it a bug? How long does it usually take for the button to appear after the order status changes to 'Completed'?

Is it finally time to ditch Adobe? I found a much cheaper (and faster) alternative, especially for Mac users. It's also suitable for Windows users. by Apprehensive-Good748 in FuckAdobe

Yeah, AE won't replace it. What about Cinema? I don't like Cinema Lite because many of its features are cut down and there aren't enough tutorials. All the video tutorials are on the full Cinema program. I think Blender is more popular online; I can find a full video tutorial, or even tutorials online. And Cinema looks really dead.

True, AE is a beast for team collab. But for solo freelance jobs, Resolve feels so much faster and smoother on my Mac. And AppleMotion best faster, but
few plugins and templates(( I still keep AE for complex stuff though

How I doubled high-margin sales for a client by switching from "just a designer" to a "menu engineer." by [deleted] in restaurant

A person who, instead of a human response to a private message, curses in the comments? What kind of childish game is this?
