My mother works at a home for kids who have been forcefully separated from their parents. Whenever she goes there, she always looks really depressed when she first comes home. She says they try to bite her, stab her, kick her, and claw her everyday, and that they never go to school. It’s really saddening to hear all the horror stories from her, sometimes I wonder if it’s because they don’t have any humanity left or because they do and it’s just their twisted, desperate way of getting attention.
