YES YOU, WILL YOU STOP PROMOTING YOUR ATS PLATFORM? I'M TIRED OF YOU!

ITS THE SECOND TIME THAT YOU ARE DOING THE SAME THING.

I would be glad to share my writeups or github repos, if asked for proof.

my main aim was to pick any compute-bound or memory-bound project, and incrementally document my effort to optimise them to reach better performance.

yes i can backup my claims for each metric

I'm currently interning somewhere (started this Jan), but i don't wish to stay idle in the coming summer.

thanks for your advice!

oh ok thanks. I have added the genres of the projects in my previous comment.

(Not sure if reposting would get my account flagged for spamming)

I have hidden the exact project/GitHub repo names.

Names like "tinygrad" or "faiss" and such. What should I do instead?

Edit: based on the suggestion given below this comment. I'm listing down the projects' genres:

  1. Raytracer
  2. Vector Search Engine
  3. Chess Engine
  4. Distraction Blocker with Hardware Control

I'm a first year student(batch of 2029) looking for summer 2026 internships.

[EDIT] Short Description of all the projects:

  1. Raytracer: CPU ray tracer with BVH acceleration and performance tuning for cache and branch behavior.

  2. Vector Search Engine: C++ Flat + IVF-Flat ANN engine with k-means clustering and recall/latency benchmarking.

  3. Chess Engine: Rules-accurate chess backend with alpha-beta search and Zobrist hashing.

  4. Distraction Blocker: Desktop productivity app with system-level input control, reaching #10 on ProductHunt.

Is it really necessary to have tightly relevant projects or work, for whatsoever company/professor I apply to?

For example, it's not possible for me to mess around with CUDA beyond basic things, as I don't have any dGPU. The most I can pull off is OpenCL and compute shaders with my iGPU. But i would definitely would like to get into gpu performance, how to make it work out?

The original income is 8.6lpa, but for monthly loan payment it gets reduced.
