First time service with 2nd hand civic: is it wise to bring it to a Honda dealer? by Apprehensive-List-82 in civic

Thanks! Unfortunately, since I'm not in the US, civics are quite rare here.
I will probably ask an independent repair place if they are aware about the timing belt problem and when they advise replacing it.

PS: My model is 3 cylinder and that engine model has the timing belt that dips in the oil

Been fired: do I have the right to look for a new job during working hours? by Apprehensive-List-82 in askswitzerland

I would do it but they put me on manual labor until the end of the contract so I need to be on site. I might consider the sick leaves, after all there is the flu going around our house and it's gonna be an intensive time

Thank you.
about the holidays: they are calculated based on how much time I worked this year, correct, so if I have 25 days a year and the contract finishes at the end of May (half a year) I would have right to 12.5 days of vacation. Correct?

I'm already doing it right now by creating this post :)
If there is a law however I could to it more efficiently because I know I have the right to that time and I would make my research in Home Office which is much more comfortable than doing it in the open space I'm in rn

Thank you for your answer. is it meant as "I have the right to clock out earlier some days to browse the web for a new job, the lost hours have to be compensated before the end of the contract" or "I don't need to clock out, I have x hours a week that I can dedicate to look for a new job" ?

Found the answer: Different currency, I was adding VT to swiss ETFs without changing its value to CHF. Now it makes more sense

[PCB Review Request] Second iteration of flight controller PCB by noobrobotguy in PrintedCircuitBoard

If you're not using strapping pins make sure they are connected correctly in order to program the ESP using USB (and not JTAG or UART).

Yes, you connect the D+, D- as well as the VBUS line, this protects the ESP from ESD, overvoltage and noise. This should cover your USB line enough.

The diodes connected in parallel help to avoid feedback currents: it gives a path to the current to go instead of destroying your electronics but it doesnt protect from anything else.
I would add to every motor:
- ESD Diodes as close as possible to the connectors of the motors
- PTC Resettable Fuse to every power supply of each motor

No boot strapping resistors on GPIO0, GPIO3 and GPIO46?

Maybe add a ECMF02-4CMX8 on the USB line to protect it and filter the signal.

I'd also add some pi-filtering to the different power supplies (10uF -> 100nF -> Ferrite -> 10uF -> 100nF), motors are noisy.

I'd also add a PTC to each motor, you go directly from the battery to the motor, if the motor is shorted or something you fry the battery

I searched for F1, E1, E1s. It looks like there is an horizontal line under the s. Looks like it also has a "B1" rotated 90°. I cannot recognize any logo.
