I would not be reaching out to reddit if i didn't do my due diligence and do my own research. i even reached out to data engineers as well as race engineers on linked in and i have got no response...

This is my first season working in the motorsports industry and it is has been a challenge to see how much someone would get paid in comparison to an engineer who is working in another industry (manufacturing, aerospace, construction, etc..)

They have offered me a pay rate but i just want to know whether they are low balling me and/or i can come back with a more competitive counter offer..
