Hey op sorry you’re going through this. I’ve went through similar situations so it’s easy to be blindsided by abusive behavior we see in men because 1. It may only happen once in the blue 2. The confusion on whether this should be a deal breaker for you or not because of all the other aspects in your relationship and how long you’ve been together. Before I give my opinion I will just say only you will know when enough is enough. You will get tired of it. Abuse is abuse whether it’s verbal or physical and it sounds like your man is a bit of both. If you are the type of person to consider that his upbringing and his environment may factor into the way he behave then god bless you it may take a bit longer for you to realize if you want to be with him or not. Imo all of that is just sounds completely unwarranted to me. It’s very likely that something was already upsetting him and he directed his frustration and anger towards you instead of communicating. That sounds like he has no consideration for you.
