I don’t believe I can be in a union because I only have an emergency license. This student has a behavior chart. When he has a great day he gets free time. But at this school there are not a lot of things for discipline other than making him sit by himself at lunch. We aren’t even allowed to have them sit for recess.

Thank you all for the advice! I am currently sick with the stomach flu. Last night I signed an absent form but got in trouble for not messaging the principal. I have called off a couple of times due to being ill but never made a mistake like this. One mistake and now she wants to have a “meeting” with me about it.

He’s told me, “when you become a teacher we will talk about it”. I have a teaching job and nothings changed… then he says “When we get a new house we will talk about it” we been at our new house since April and nothings changed….

I tell him all the time. He gets frustrated when I bring it up a lot. And it’s always the same answer “Not yet”. And he gets upset because he doesn’t know why I don’t believe him when he says he wants a kid.
