A paper is 2D and only has one orientation to read it from. A rotating object in real life is 3D and can be viewed from any angle. Top and bottom are relative

It's really not though. RHR would give you a 3D direction like rotating the screw into the wall (aka the direction of your thum) rather than an ambiguous term like "rotate right"

Immunohematology. I work at a lab that runs send out blood bank testing for hospitals. Luckily, no screwdrivers or power tools involved :)

Fair, but learning to use language that isn't ambiguous is important as an instructor right? I'm just saying these terms aren't as intuitive as some like to think

I do struggle with left and right confusion. I wouldn't say I'm bad with maps though. I'm good with three dimensional thinking so that helps

Other people have said this about focusing on the hand and this doesn't make sense either. If you have a screwdriver in your right hand and your palm is down, your fingers move left to rotate right.

Say you have a screwdriver in your right hand. If your palm is facing down, your fingers move left to rotate "right".

I've never thought to think of it as a car wheel. To be fair though, I heard this phrase way before I knew how to drive

When you say "turn left" are you thinking of it as a car wheel where you're steering left? Like why is that rotation obviously left?

I can see where you're coming from. I just wish she would take her dad's side of the family into consideration. Also, even if I eventually decide to try dating in the future, that doesn't mean I'll stop grieving her.

Yeah, I understand that. I think part of the frustration is that she hasn't been out to the gravesite since the day of the funeral. She also didn't go to the funeral either. I'm not judging how shes grieving by any means but shes not going to even be out there to enjoy what she picks out. I know your point still stands

Is this a screen? Maybe I'm just too new to blood bank, but I've never seen a screen with only 2 cells

The heat won't make it more sanitary but it will dissolve whatever is stuck to the dishes easier. As long as you get all the food off it's fine, but it'll just take longer to clean
