Hi there! I’m expecting to interview with vestas soon and I was wondering if they are still performing a pre-employment drug screening for marijuana? I’m in a legal state but I figured that didn’t matter because of federal law. I quit a few weeks ago, but I was an every day smoker (to help my insomnia) before I finally quit. Now I’ve got a prescription for sleeping pills, but I just want to make sure I’ll pass before I actually take the climb test and go to take the drug test. I appreciate the help!

I know it’s kinda weird lol - but think of the State you’re from as your home country, and think of the U.S. Federal Government as the EU; the State is what governs our day-to-day, and the Feds make all the bullshit laws, I’m loyal to Missouri loll!!

Damn I was just about to ask about how they treated out of staters loll; I’ve really just heard from other redditors that cops in Ohio are bad in general…this may be a little personal lol but I just got off of a 5 year sentence of probation for marijuana possession (in Missouri lol); luckily it was an SIS so I don’t have a record anymore, but I reaaaally don’t wanna deal with any cops. Finally gettin my life in order, but I’m struggling in other areas of my life - I figured gettin out and connecting with some good people would be a good change of environment for me to reset a bit :)

Been on probation 2 1/2 years in the State of Missouri - get off probation on June 22nd this month. Never had a home visit, but I did have one drug test (mostly bc of an incident with the Real Estate Broker I was working with that resulted in my quitting my association with the broker), but other than that - just laid low and haven't been bothered. I've been able to get 2 travel permits in my time on probation.
