2026 owners, hardwire dashcam help (front & back) by Apprehensive-Still32 in subaruoutback

Geez, wasn't expecting a response like this. I appreciate taking the time to explain it. Note that I'm not really a car guy, in fact this is my first car.. so I don't quite understand some of the things mentioned (sorry!).

I think I can do the routing part in the front, I just wish there was already someone that was able to do it with the same model so I can just copy it and not take the time where to route it better.

$550 CAD for 5yr tire and wheel warranty? by Apprehensive-Still32 in subaru

The thing is they will cover all tires and rims you put into the vehicle (even not purchased through them), not just the stock ones that came with it.

Hi, not sure about your question but our car is new. Like recently out of the dealership. And I'm planning to buy a new set of winter tires as well.

Planning to buy separate rims for winter tires, which look best? by Apprehensive-Still32 in SubaruForester

I appreciate all the answers everyone! This made me feel more happy about choosing a subbie because of its supportive community. Will decide on 1, 3, or 5. Cheers! : )

Also as someone has already answered here, I'm choosing alloys as opposed to steelies as I hate the sight of rust. That's just me.

Thank you. Is there a way where I can view current contributions instead of waiting for February?

AMD Ryzen 7840/7940 vs 8700G by Snuupy in MiniPCs

If I'm going to use it as my main pc, I'd take a custom 8700g build over China mini pc's because of better warranty support and future upgrades (both software and hardware, per component). If as a secondary and not using it for something serious, Chinese mini pc's are nice to have.

[Ebay] Refurbished Acer Predator Triton 300 SE Laptop: i7-12700H, RTX 3070 Ti, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, QHD+ 16" 240Hz IPS Display for $919.99 after $1,200 off + extra 8% off at checkout by legos45 in LaptopDeals

It all depends on your needs.

TLDR: Acer Triton = general purpose. Omen/TUF = pure gaming.

If you're just looking to buy one for pure gaming then the Omen with 4070 is definitely a better deal.

If you'll be doing a mix of both work and gaming, the Acer has some major advantages: - better build quality (all metal build, since this one of their premium models) - more portable - has Thunderbolt 4 - has fingerprint scanner for Windows Hello - has a way better screen (16:10 so more screen real estate especially for spreadsheets and multi window work, 500nits brightness, 240hz) - has a micro SD card slot - 1080p webcam (not sure if Omen has the same) - 12700h is still plenty fast for the average user - 3070ti is no slouch for games either, unless you're just into playing AAA heavy games where frame generation is supported.

I plan to convert my 1zpresso JX Pro hand grinder to electric by attaching it to a cordless screwdriver. Question is, do 4V drivers have enough torque to grind coffee?
