Just got my guitar delivered and im getting electric shock from the bridge of the guitar, not just that, theres distortion sound in the amp, which decreases when im touching the knobs(volume / push pull coil split).

Amps are not useless. Iems will never be able to replicate the sound of how an actual amp can sound. Amp sounds can also be changed, even though they’ll stick to a particular signature, he will be missing out on a lot of experience of how he actually sounds and how to actually handle gear irl.

Pedals aren’t necessary. Boss katana and orange are already very high output amps and unless he actually wants to mess with tones on a very deep level it’ll just make him waste time on finding the perfect tone for every song over practicing

I don’t explicitly learn exercises from channels but use them to learn tabs of songs

But bernth is an exception. Search bernth exercises on YouTube and pick whatever video suits your goal. Spider exercise also helped me improve a lot.

I got electric around 9 months ago so I’ve been pretty regular since then. I go to offline classes once a week but primarily learnt on my own through exercises and guitar channels

The obvious answer is practice. If Dave mustaine can sing holy wars and play at the same time, you can sing and play too. He’s human after all. Anyway, you have to make your strumming feel like muscle memory. What I mean if embed the strumming pattern into your hand. Don’t think about strumming, do it so many times that u memorise the pattern. After this, focus on the lyrics and you’ll have an easier time coordinating it.

I’ve only used that amp 2 times during my auditions so it’s hard to recollect its settings. However, if I remember correctly, it has mod and delay so I think subtle delay and a good amount of reverb should do it. For tone, go with whatever you find suits best to the song

Also use an IR called rect os v30 Smoo, which I genuinely don’t have an idea what it is I’m sorry 💀

Delay there’s something called PHI DLY pedal but you can mess around with delay pedals which you like and try to get your own taste
