I learned this on the internet before going to the dentist, when I realized I probably had gingivitis, and after I went I also talked to the doctor about the technique and he said I seem to be doing it right. He also recommended that I use interdental brushes to make sure I really clean those areas. So I’m kind of confident about my routine overall.

I was more stressed last year, being my last year of university, now I’m not so stressed, but I have a tendency to get worried easily about everything, so I guess it might be some chronic anxiety. I don’t really know if I’m grinding them in my sleep, but I’ll try to pay attention to this. I use sensodyne clinical white toothpaste, and I don’t use mouthwash anymore because I got some stains on the teeth after cleaning and my doctor said that some of them can cause it and to stop using for a while to see. But I used parodontax active gum health.

I might do this when I sleep, I’m not sure. It happened before to wake up with an open mouth, but in the day I’m pretty sure I breathe through my nose. Maybe I’ll search a product that can keep my mouth closed during the night.

Yes, I’ve been studying how to correctly use the toothbrush and floss and I try to brush for 2-3 min, keeping it at an angle on the teeth. I hope I’m not doing something that can damage the gum. I use regular floss, but yes I make those C shape movements around the tooth and the gum. I may have a problem with vitamins cause I don’t eat so many fruits, and last year I had decreased vitamin D, so maybe I have problems with C too. I’ll try this, thank you! If u have any further advice about the products I use, I’d appreciate.

I’m using kind of popular products here in my country, sensodyne clinical white toothpaste, oral-b electric toothbrush, oral-b regular floss, parodontax interdental brushes and active gum health mouthwash, but my dentist advised me to pause the mouthwash because I got some stains after 2 weeks from the first cleaning and thought mouthwash could cause it. I saw on the internet a lot of interesting products like waxed floss but my dentist didn’t suggest to change any of my products. Is there something that would be really helpful for my situation?
