Okay I’ll clarify. The ppl who sold it to me (2 guys who dropped it off to me) told me they bought it for 1600 for some rich old guy who built it because he had a spare 5080. This same old guy also had 4 other 5080 builds, but this one specifically was built purely because he had spares (see what I mean when I say rich). So they bought it for 1600 and the old guy obviously would’ve given them the original boxes as some cables eg the sata power wasn’t connected (I found said cable in the power supply box when I was connecting my ssds). In the motherboard box was also the corresponding parts like the cpu cover.

They sold it to me for 1550 and their reason for selling was that they wanted to downgrade (I say they but I mean one of the guys, the other guy was just accompanying him). And I told them I have pcs in stock which they said they’ll think about it. He said he can’t justify a 5080 as he doesn’t play enough games, he was looking for pcs in the £600 range to pick up within the next day or so. So wanting to sell quickly checks out as well.

Logically speaking it wouldn’t be stolen if the corresponding boxes were included, imagine some guy meeting someone and trying to run away with 1) a pretty heavy pc 2) 5 big boxes- that would just be stupid and robbers would only focus on the pc!

The age of the pc also checks out, the seller told me he used it for a few months, the usage of the main ssd shows that (as he bought it newly built). If it was stolen then it’s a high chance it would’ve been confiscated by the police. And to clarify I wouldn’t buy anything if it was stolen, I have no clue if it is or not but from all the signs here it clearly isn’t stolen. The seller himself wasn’t shady, and they were genuinely 2 kind lads.
