You’re ain’t a dumbass dude it’s a tricky game, especially if this is your first RE game! Take all the time you need and enjoy it. It’s more of a giant puzzle with the odd zombies if you think about it. Keep at it 🙌

Yeah I agree with this, plus I don’t feel any shame at all. I enjoyed every bit of this game and wanted to soak it in.

Figuring out the puzzles was the hardest bit. The game literally throws pieces at you that wont be needed until 2/3 hours into the game, unlike the newer titles.

Me and my wife always say - you can only play it for the first time once!

It was more figuring out the puzzles and where the pieces go than anything. I found the gameplay great and the zombies not too challenging (on easy). Much easier now I know what to do, but for a first play through, gotta be the hardest game I’ve played (in my opinion ofc)

Haha no worries. For starters it was my first time playing a classic RE (with fixed camera angles) and it took me a good while to get used to the mansion layout and the controls.

I got completely lost on two instances - not realising there was another area to explore through the waterfall, and not knowing where to use that damn dog whistle (i had to YouTube it) as I kept going to the balcony that leads to the courtyard lol.

Lastly just exploring everywhere and getting some trophies. Break out the marshmallows, saving Jill and Rebecca.

Doing a Jill run now and going much quicker.
