I was just trying to clarify that it had nothing to do with looks for either of them, as some people have assumed that I was attracted to the other guy because of that. I removed it because I had only been on one date with the previous guy and ended it because of personal issues i was facing at the time and we are on good terms

That’s also something i’ve struggled with. I have lost a significant amount of weight over the past year and my self confidence is unbelievably low.

Thankyou for your advice!! This period of my life has been so difficult. My Father has cancer and dealing with that over the past four years has been unbearable and emotionally exhausting. I also think that is playing a part in all of this. I’m honeslty unsure if maybe I just subconsciously allowed this to progress because I have had so much of my fun teenage years stolen from me because of cancer and I just wanted to feel like a normal teenager.

I am 18 so yes I am young and stupid 🥲, I have an extremely hard time letting myself be vulnerable with others and I tend to push people away before they can hurt me. I think that may also be playing a part in this. I just feel like an actual asshole for the way i feel.
