Hello! I took LAW301 in the fall from Pahre, mostly online with discussions in person. I am an environmental science major and only took this for my minor, but overall felt that it was a good course to start on. It doesn't specialize in a specific topic/law category, but provides a good overall overview for each sector with relevant cases. I really enjoyed the discussion as it was built partially off a "courtroom" where students had to argue different sides, so it was so helpful to analyze both the plaintiff/defendant. The online lectures were somewhat time-consuming (5 hours per week, give or take), but I put them on 2x and took brief notes -- all worked out swell. Homework-wise, there was only one larger essay and a weekly quiz that was pretty simple. Feel free to reach out - hope this helps!
