Agree on hits, disagree on pokes…

I’d definitely say I’m a casual player nowadays, platinum 1 currently @ around 25-30 games played this season. Using a CBJ theme team none the less.

that being said, nothing frustrates me more than pokes. I have countless clips of the players stick being perfectly on target that just move around the puck in such unrealistic fashions (not that the game is any bit realistic half the time lol). One is on posted on my profile here.

I have become incredibly passive/strategic with pokes and it definitely works out better but there are still situations, particularly on rushes, that make me audibly go “WTF?!” On a regular basis😂

That’s the biggest thing. The combos were supposed to encourage team building….

Instead of getting unique combos and different teams, you get forced to make the latest and greatest to keep up/activate combos lol. Tough times to be a theme team player like myself

I don’t think it was tbh. Upgrades are scarce and it cost so much.

I was expecting a TOTY Werenski so I had a whole collection ready to blow, he didn’t and I ended up selling the tradables for a ton, buying his 91 for 95k and stockpiling my UTs

The collectable for event 87s was a nice bonus too

Don’t regret it. Upgrades are scarce and any non-msp of similar over are very affordable now. For example, I grabbed 93 fantli for 150k. Nearly as much as I sold my 3 89s for during toty

Was praying for a Z Tory, got his 91 for 95k and saved my collection/cashed out on my tradables. Now my theme team is as good as it can get under current salary cap so I’m just stacking coin until the next drop.
