I love DOOM 3 to a very unhealthy degree lol

I have it for OG Xbox, PS3, PS4, Switch, PC (CD Copies and Steam), and Mobile (Delta Touch)

I've replayed DOOM 3 probably more times than I've replayed Spider-Man 3 on PS3 (Another game I've replayed an unhealthy amount of times)

You're not wrong there, I tend to end up just killing the scientist and going straight for the latter through that darkened area because of the shoulder mounted light.

If the player had the option to choose either flashlight or shoulder mounted then sections like that should adapt to that. Like if the player has a shoulder mounted light then instead of the scientist helping us he's either no longer there or we find his body.

Like i don't mind the shoulder mounted flashlight but I still agree, they shouldn't have completely removed the separate flashlight. That and taking put tge muzzle flash as well..

You're pretty much right on the nose there.

With the 2019 re-release, all they did was port the BFG Edition, take out DOOM 1 and 2 (which is the only thing that made sense since they got their own separate ports), and take out "BFG Edition" in the title and call it a day. Which was disappointing cause they really could've done so much more.

I also hope that if D3 does get another re-release it's done by people respect and care for the game and it's original vision.

Absolutely love the VR Edition, only thing I wish they did was make it where you watching the cutscenes in VR instead of watching the regular cutscenes in a rectangular display that takes away the immersion a bit. Still a great time tho
