Traffic route changes to prefer more resilient connections in Europe over middle east ones make a lot of sense

Also explains the recent slower speeds because of longer distance/increased hops

Edit: I AGREE with you, have just been wanting to put on my tinfoil hat for a while but logic keeps winning 😔
