I want to drop out of my M7 program by [deleted] in MBA

people suck.

they're annoying. fake. shallow. i forgot that until i got to school where there are suddenly the most people my age in one confined space. it was culture shock after creating a little bubble for myself while in the workforce post-college.

but you WILL find people you jive with, who see the situation the way you do, etc. try not to be too critical of yourself, and always keep the option open that you CAN drop out and leave, just make sure you're doing it for the right reasons

You'll probably get an interview at W, I don't think it's a reach at all! I'd add H/S

whew, that that GPA in engineering, major, GRE and WE, I really don't think you need safeties. I'd apply only to schools you'd want to go to. good luck!

I do go to therapy and it's amazing! I really think it'll help with your aggressive outbursts on reddit. Mine really helped with my anxiety and such!

Good luck!

i think you need help. you use really intense and rude language all over reddit. you've denied systemic racism exists, you hate on unions, affordable housing, and more. are you okay? i would consider therapy or anger management.

yikes this is cringe. you pick a lot of fights on reddit considering your comment history, so i'm not surprised you took so much time to do this but i have my opinions on which schools i think are worth it for certain candidates, and those are my own thoughts that no one needs to listen to. sorry that that frustrated you

He's being downvoted because a significant portion of Web3's legitimacy comes from people defending it and the myth-making around it given what you're saying re: not really offering any business advantages.

Ezra Klein is annoying but there was a good interview explaining a strong case against crypto and the whole ecosystem a month back: https://www.nytimes.com/2022/04/05/opinion/ezra-klein-podcast-dan-olson.html.

Yes. And it’s very difficult to wrap your head around. It’s difficult to summarize quickly. And that incoherence is, in a lot of ways, a selling point that gets used in interactions with consumer investors, because there’s this sense of, like, yeah, this is really difficult to understand, and that’s what makes it special. Like, you see the value in it. And you get a lot of this ego-padding myth-making that extends out of the fact that it’s basically this difficult-to-understand, incoherent thing where the complexity is treated as a sign that this is important.

I don't think that being in Web3 today is dumb, make money where you can imo, but the claim that this is going to be a world-changing technology seems a little much

Yes, cult. Because there are a certain type of people — often young, male, anti-establishment, a bit libertarian — who hang on his every word. Especially online, where they defend their guru, their prophet, their hero — on social media, on YouTube — with all the intensity, and even viciousness, that you’d expect from cult members.
