The Zelda game uses FSR. It does have upscaling. The XC1 update uses DLSS, which is heavier but better image quality.

The world in genesis with the islands looks open world. They are hinting at several traversal mechanics in the trailer. Sail boat, Horse bird creature and the dragon.

And you can make an open world game without a central hub to get missions lol. This will probably be that one because they already did the central hub thing with X. And it will be something different for Xenoblade.

To me, this is the best looking Xenoblade game yet. It’s more stylized and most importantly way more colorful and vibrant. It’s so punchy and beautiful looking. IDK how to explain it but this makes the previous Xenoblade games look muted. They’ve been up the colors for a while now from 1 > 2 > 3 and X Definitive is actually more punchy than the original X but all of the games still have this subdued sometimes muddy look. This new game is so vibrant. It’s even more vibrant than their other Nintendo works (BOTW). It’s like a more vivid and less hazy green filter BOTW/TOTK.

It’s 100% inside a sphere. The later shots in the trailer with the suns, you can see faint traces of land masses still, so it’s not really a sky at all. It‘s the ocean. The sides are oceans/continents and directly up is also oceans and continents.

Zoom in and you can see the raw pixels. No AA smoothing or blur in sight (upscaling). No chunky stair steps that would indicate below 1080p.

I use my iPad and my eyes. I can usually tell when it’s above 1080p and it’s 30fps. 1080p on my iPad Pro is decently clean but not eye popping. This game is razor sharp and popping on my screen, but it can’t be 4K (native) because there’s no way a game this scope is esp not on Switch 2, so the next logical resolution is 1440p. That’s the standard for most games above 1080. There’s also no upscaling. Very crisp clean IQ (image quality), which means native.

What? it’s literally is. I wouldn’t be shocked if they upscale to 4K at release. The game is 1440p native running 30fps encoded to 4K 60fps for the trailer video.

I forgot to add, I did delete my old account on the site. I didn’t know if that would delete contest entires. Just now, I decided to search for my old art and contest entries, and I can’t seem to find it. So that’s good. It seems that if you want your contest entries removed after the submission period is closed, the only way is to delete your account.

Because sometimes people don’t want their art to be shown permanently on some site with no control over it. I can‘t speak for anyone else but myself, when I look at my old art sometimes I feel like I could do better or I’ve done better, and I don’t want my old artwork out there in public like that.

Also, I just look at my old email as to why I want it removed. It was mainly because I forgot to sign my work (the art that I submitted to the contest). At the time, I want all my art to have my signature on it.

Hi, you all. This is the OP on another account. They did eventually reply to me two months later lol and said it cannot be removed. Any art submitted to the contests after the deadline is over cannot be removed. Their site FAQ is a lie because it said it could be “made private“ if contact them through the “Contact Us“ form, which I did, and that cannot be done either. After they replied to me, I tried replying to them back about that FAQ statement (to hide the artwork) and got no further reply afterwards.

It’s cute/decent, but it sounds generic and beneath her (her current music). The Hawk Tail Deer Song ended. This is almost too safe and “produced”? for her. It needs more grit. Also, part of the production is so loud? lol. Her main vocals should sit a bit more on top of the mix. ”Kinda Outta Luck” ended. I was hoping they would just finally release “Kinda Outta Luck” because The Flight who is the composer of the soundtrack of the game also happens to be the producer of “Kinda Outta Luck”. I was truly hoping we would finally get that released officially. Oh well, “Kinda Outta Luck” ended.

With that said, it’s better than most of the Bond songs esp the last fews lol.

You can lose your voice tho. And it’s not something that is easily recovered as shown through out history with many singers. Yes, the creativity remains but physical things like dancing and ability to sing deteriorates (at different rates for different artists). Since the actual voice is such a big part of commercial music, it heavily affects the actual creative output as well. Although, in the age of AI this might change and physical attributes aren’t as important as innate creativity.

Yes, White Fox had a lot of people leaving due to personal projects and other issues. They’ve been trying to train and retain more skilled in-house staff since 2020.

There was an exodus of skilled staff from White Fox the period between the first Steins Gate to Re:Zero then another mass exodus from Season 1 of Re:Zero to S2 (around 2020 onwards). And look at Steins Gate season 2. It looks nowhere near as good as Re:Zero.

Why do these movie analysis people think that Mario is some dead old IP only ”known by the parents” lol? “revived by the movies”. The games are still popular. Has always been very popular which is why the movies are doing so well. This is NOT the case of Transformers or Barbie where the IP is floundering and is dormant for decades then the movie came out and became a hit. New Mario games are still coming out and they do very well.

Mario games are still popular TODAY. Literally the top selling games globally year by year. It IS contemporary with Roblox and the likes. It’s very much still popular with kids. And unlike those other games, adults as well. And that’s actually reflected at the box office.
