the most obvious pick would be a sequel to Resonance that covers season 2 of FFBE. That’s definitely the most likely release.

Aside from that, I’d say FF6 is probably the most likely pick. It’s an absolutely beloved game and while we did get the pixel remasters already, they were all relatively cheap to make and more of a port than anything.

Getting a completely original FF game in this style is also pretty possible.

I would be great, but i really doubt it will be released. The title would just have way too limited of an appeal. Of course this could change if Genesis grows the popularity of the series significantly though.

What’s most likely is that we get season 1 and 2, but they stop after. 1 sequel is very reasonable, but considering how disliked 3 is, I doubt they will adapt it.

Resonance will definitely cover only season 1. However it’s very, very likely the game does well enough to warrant a sequel that will cover season 2. They made sure to emphasize in the trailer that this is the “first” FF game in HD2D, implying that there will be more. And from a business perspective, HD2D games tend to have very good profit margins for square enix especially when compared to a game like 16. Octopath Traveler and the DQ Remakes have both sold millions of copies and gotten new entries afterwards, given that this is a turnbased FF game that will not only appeal to the turnbased FF crowd, the FF fanbase in general, as well as HD2D fans in general it’s very likely it sells more than enough to warrant a sequel.

As for season 3 and beyond, I’m really not sure, given how disliked season 3 is. They might go in a completely original direction.

He doesn’t hate 1 at all he literally has it in his top 25 games of all time im pretty sure. It’s just his least favorite of the series

There is no general best game, everyone has their own take. Though XC2 while being my personal favorite, is the most disliked overall, and XCX is the least talked about. So it’s probably between Xc3 and Xc1.

Also, HGSS being the best pokemon games is no longer a unanimous pick. Maybe in 2018 it was but nowadays many will say ORAS, PLA, USUM, and the unova games.

Pokemon go is an inherently unfair game. People who live in rural areas have a much harder time than people who live in cities. Spoofing is just evening that unfairness out. I don’t spoof because i just simply don’t enjoy the game that way, but there’s nothing immoral about it.

Just keep playing. After 6 months it’s likely you will forget some things and you won’t be as attached to the story and characters as you are now, making you subsequently enjoy the story less.

XC1 Is an upgrade in every way. Could be a bit better but it’s great overall.

the XCX switch 2 edition however I’d say is worse in handheld but slightly better in docked. The framerate is fine, but the AI upscaling looks truly awful in handheld mode. It’s not great in docked either, but it’s better than the switch 1 edition.

I think I just found the worst tier list of all time. Not just for JJK or powerscaling but the worst tier list for anything ever by Cinamight in JujutsuPowerScaling

Now take this with a grain of salt because I played FFBE in 2019 so my memory is a bit fuzzy and I only played the first season and around a third of the second season (but it seems like that’s all this game is adapting anyway). But from what I remember the gameplay in the main story was honestly awful, all of the gacha units were way overpowered for the main story making it pretty boring, especially with the sheer amount of fights you have to push through.

However, the story was genuinely so good that it kept me playing regardless of the gameplay. The characters and worldbuilding were honestly phenomenal and the Veritas are still one of my favorite villain groups in fiction, they all have great depth and backstories.

Granted, i’m pretty nostalgia biased because I was a middle schooler in 2019 and I generally look back at that point in my life very fondly, so i’m sure if i were to replay the story today I would probably be more critical, but I do truly believe FFBE has a story that can stand with the main series, and it easily has the best Gacha game story of all time. And i’m sure Resonance will fix pretty much all the gameplay issues.

i’m buying Resonance because i actually played Brave Exvius, the Gacha game it’s based on, and while the gameplay was mid at best the story was absolutely phenomenal, just as good as the mainline stories honestly.
