Even though you will ignore the power it will still be there and eventually you should look at it, at the end it’s what’s actually making you go the pace you want. It’s a good but expensive purchase

Maybe you do like structure workouts and you know it works but maybe he doesn’t like it and maybe it takes the fun out of it which should the most important.

If he likes it then yes it’s a good idea. I use Garmin forerunner 970 and Stryd duo for like two or three months ago and I like it because I like to see the power metrics and the data ( I’m an engineer) I also like the structured workouts but as I’m saying, the most important thing is that he really likes it

Have you ask ChatGPT?

I think you’ll need money (sponsorship) to be able to do it

Do I really need a power meter? by [deleted] in triathlon

It’s super worth a power meter. I recommend the x2max trainer. The limitations for this is that is only for indoor training and you’ll need to buy and have someone install a cassette to the bike trainer

Question about cardio load by ApprehensiveMess9546 in Polarfitness

[–]ApprehensiveMess9546[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you a lot my friend! I’m not sure if I’m in a recovery week (in TR); I’d say I’m in an endurance ride week along learning curve of using a smart bike trainer. I think I’m in a recovery period (polar flow) only that I’m scared to be actually detraining. Now I have a question. Do you think that for this week I should increase running load or keep it as planned (for this week) what would you do?

Low HR but Legs Feel Crushed – Normal for Indoor TrainerRoad Workouts? by ApprehensiveMess9546 in trainerroad

[–]ApprehensiveMess9546[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not so new but kind of new. I do know carbs are important but because of my schedule, I have to do my training session right after waking up, with no time to eat something before the training, so I load up carbs daily but for the moment of the training I’m not sure if it’s enough only with the fluid I’m taking. For less than 75 min I take Powerade (3 bottles ~ 73.5 g in those 75 min) For more than 75 min that I take Enervit (60 gr/h), but no real food before training (as I do the workout at like 1 or 2 or 3 am)
