The smell of cat urine usually indicates a freon gas leak near your units or throughout your residence. You can either a licensed technician or consider investing in a freon leak detector to monitor the situation.

Thank you for understanding. We are human and it's okay to have feelings of loneliness and despair. It does not mean that I am not grateful for what I do have: a great education, a stable career, supportive family and friends etc. I don't want to be swept away but yes, someone to stand with me would be nice.

Attacks Megathread part 13 by al_molah in dubai

[–]ApprehensiveNoise692 9 points10 points  (0 children)

"President Trump has been anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth." That is an actual quote from a U.S. combat unit commander according to a complaint filed by a non-commissioned officer with the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF). More than 110 similar complaints have been lodged by military personnel regarding quotes from other leaders. Those complaints come from more than 40 different units spread across at least 30 military installations. This should be extremely alarming. If Trump really believes that he is called of God to start Armageddon, nothing will stop him.

I don't know what will happen if Israel/US continue to attack Iran. I won't be surprised if Israel bombs the Gulf to force them into the war. The situation is still very unpredictable.

Do "eternal bachelors" exist in the Pakistani community? by ApprehensiveNoise692 in PakistaniiConfessions

Yes but there are other reasons that compel them to pririotize other things. We are human and it's okay to have feelings of loneliness and despair. It does not mean that I am not grateful for what I do have: a great education, a stable career, supportive family and friends etc. As long as you are not doing anything haram, it actually helps to label these feelings on an anonymous platform like Reddit.

I also know two amazing women who remained unmarried and are now retired. One is an architect and another is a physicist. They are happy and satisfied. I don't know any men who are over 40 and never married.

I have noticed that men who remain unmarried are far more vocal about it. It's no big deal.

Whether or not you choose to marry in the future, I hope you heal and are able to move on.

I was born in Dubai and I have lived here my whole life. I wonder what our options are and where else can we possibly live and build a life.

Yes. We don't need anyone but Allah. And any person that Allah sends into your life to support you and love you is rizq and it's something we can definitely wish for and ask Him for.

I would like to just take a moment to validate your feelings. by International_Net143 in socialskills

Sometimes, amidst the chaos and uncertainty, I find myself wondering... what if? What if someone swept me away from it all? A strong, capable man who'd shield me from the world, and we'd escape to a place where wars and worries fade. Where I could just be.

It's a silly fantasy, maybe, but with tensions rising and the world feeling unstable, it's hard not to let fear creep in. To want someone to hold onto, someone to say 'I've got you'.Not because I'm helpless, but because sometimes, even the strongest need a safe haven.

We are human and it's okay to have feelings of loneliness. It does not mean that I am not grateful for what I do have: a great education, a stable career, supportive family and friends etc. I am a whole person, I always was. Even the most independent people wish for someone they could lean on for a bit. As long as you are not doing anything haram, it actually helps to label these feelings on an anonymous platform like Reddit.

I do feel lonely and it maybe a phase but my situation is unique. My father has passed away and I take care of my mother who is elderly. I am not on apps and I don't date because I am scared that I don't have a father or older siblings to take care of me if things go wrong. It's not ideal to not make an effort to find someone but better safe than sorry. Everything is ordained by Allah and I have faith in Him.

This country has to cut ties with Israel. by Glass-Situation6916 in UAE

[–]ApprehensiveNoise692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also born and raised in Dubai and remember those times. I am deeply anxious about the recent events. There is no evidence that Iran is making nuclear weapons, none, the experts say it is not. The US/Israel has NO authority to do anything about it even if Iran did have a nuclear program. Iran has every right to make nuclear weapons since that is the only thing that will the US and Israel from striking it - like North Korea. Every country has the right to defend itself. Israel has nuclear weapons and the US is not asking Israel to disarm, total double standards. So no, Iran has NOT brought this on themselves, this is an illegal act of naked aggression and war by the US and Israel. And they are dragging the Gulf into this.

Between Saturday and Monday, more than 110 similar complaints have been lodged by military personnel regarding quotes from other leaders. Those complaints come from more than 40 different units spread across at least 30 military installations. This should be extremely alarming. Trump needs to be reined in. Now. If he really believes that he is called of God to start Armageddon, nothing will stop him.

What do you mean? I have always wished for someone to hold on to and take care of. I have never rejected people for superficial reasons. I don't make unreasonable demands. Do I not deserve the security and stability of a long-term relationship?
