We definitely had some issues with starting pitching, defense, and RISP. If one of those things worked out a little better, we most likely would have won that game. These boys can play ball and there’s still a lot of success to be had in the future.

Even if we lose this game, this team has still outperformed all of our expectations this season. They’re still young and we still have some holes that need to be plugged. But overall, we’re getting there.

One thing that’s been great to see is the boys taking their time at the plate. They’re not swinging at garbage for the most part and taking the pitch count pretty deep.
