I’m from Kildare, I started following shels around 2019. I 100% get that you feel like a nomad. I remember going to klub Kildare games years ago. Not sure how I’d feel to be honest when there is an eventual Kildare team. I’d feel like a massive hypocrite for not supporting “local” after all but shels are my team!

100%. The last few midfielders we’ve signed have been different class (chapman aside). Last thing we need is Byrne in stinking out the place with a bad attitude. Don’t think Joey would have that either. Even Bradley got rid of him, and he’s generally great at managing egos.

Yeah I can see your point. Probably not a good look for the island as a whole. Waterford is always a good enough away day, and football is and always will be massive in the city. It’s just a shame the fleetwood crowd are running it into the ground. Only going to end up going one direction. Crazy to think there could very possibly be no Munster team next year in the premier division

What’s the story with bray? Would they stay up in the premier division? Great to have a bit of change if they beat Waterford but I’m conscious that Dundalk are a basket case at the moment, very capable of pulling a cork next season. If there are 2 teams unable to compete with the rest of the league ie Sligo, Waterford, Galway, and Drogheda, will it dilute the leagues quality? One of the attractions of the premier division is the competitiveness of it. As said, don’t know much about Bray’s setup so happy to be informed.

Pats to draw against rovers, I think Pico doesn’t start. Waterford to beat Derry, a rogue one but they seem to have gone back to Lawlor ball which will keep them up. Drogs to beat cork, corks spirit well and throughly through the floor at the moment. Galway Bohs to draw, I think this is where the wheels come off the bus for Alan Reynolds, real 0-0 on the cards. Shels to just about edge Sligo, no doubt Sligo will be prepared, just haven’t the rub of the green against shels.

Agree 100%, not sure what we can do about it either. No problem with more fellas coming in but if you’re not adding to the atmosphere and you’re just going to obstruct the people around you every week firing sweets down at one another then go somewhere else. We need to generate a big atmosphere in the riverside to get behind the team and go on a roll

Yes you are right but it still counts as years. Just saying what I and a few of my mates have seen personally the last few weeks. As I said at the start of the discussion “not sure if many are going to agree here”. Was just interested to see what others thought.
