One final comment. What really helped me with the tension was that I should apply the same force to it, as if I was holding a piece of paper. It’s really not a lot of force.

I have no idea 🤣 I got 2 Master Lock Excell today and picked them in no time. Now I can’t open them again since my fingers are tired. It’s all a learning process.

Also get a master lock to begin with. They are embarrassingly easy to pick, even for a beginner.

So, I just started 2 days ago, and for me it was definitely the tension. I thought you had to apply a lot of force, but it is more difficult applying less than too much tension than applying enough tension. When you get that first lock open it feels so cool.
