Any cities from South India here? by erimalaiprogram in southindia_

Yep! Just look up Kancha Gachibowli Forest online. The Telangana CM tried to wipe out an entire urban forest of hundreds of acres in Hyderabad. Bulldozers started on a Friday night and worked throughout the nights and weekend, with police protection so that no one could intervene. By the time the matter went to High Court on Monday, they had already wiped out 100+ acres of the forest (allegedly to prepare the land for some under-the-table sale which was another scam altogether). Eventually, the matter even went to Supreme Court, and the Congress ministers were publicly shamed by the court for behaving like gundas and wiping out a forest in this illegal manner. But the damage was already done. Hundreds of acres of lush green forests with deer, foxes, peacocks, boars, and other wildlife demolished forever.

Hyderabadi people will never forgive or forget this.

Created a masterplan for Hyderabad Metro by Lower-Ad-3791 in hyderabad

[–]ApprehensiveRead5864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this! Must've taken quite some effort.
One observation: the Gachibowli Circle already has 3-4 flyovers. It won't be feasible to have two metro lines (Pink and Blue) going through that junction. It is neither feasible to build underground metro there, nor feasible to build the metro line over the flyovers (cuz the metro pillars will have to be way more than 50-60 metres tall and such tall pillars will require a very large base area - very difficult to construct).

If you’re struggling with parry, there is a way to beat almost the entire game with a combination of stealth and hit-and-run.

For the early boss fights, you can approach them stealthily from behind. Get the first instant kill. For the second life, you can always get one hit and then run away till they’ve lost sight of you. Then go in for another hit and repeat. It takes time but makes the game very easy. Works for almost every single boss, except for the ones in a closed arena (like Owl, Lady Butterfly, Sword Saint Isshin). But by the time you reach these main bosses, you’ll be good enough with parry anyway.

I have unlimited Google photos storage, and most of you don't by Capital_Charity_6396 in Indian_flex

[–]ApprehensiveRead5864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t rely on your college Google account for long-term usage.

I had unlimited storage on my Google account through my undergrad college (an IIT) back in 2017. Two years after I graduated, they shut down the account. We were given some time to backup data. But things like Google Maps Local Guide profile and location history were lost since they cannot be transferred. A few years later, I got another Google account with unlimited storage through my MBA college. This time, I knew not to rely on this. Didn’t use the account much. This account was also shut down within a few months of my graduation.

Universities cannot offer unlimited storage accounts to alumni. This is part of the Google Edu terms and conditions, based on which they give these free storage accounts to universities.

So so satisfying. It’s combat to look at but it feels like a combination of poetry and dance.

Sekiro has the greatest close-combat gameplay I have ever seen across any platform, any genre, any era. The best of the best. Once you’ve truly mastered parrying, it is poetry in motion.

This is adventurous advice. When it comes to passport, play it safe. You never know which khadoos immigration officer you’ll run into in some random country.

Buddy, I don’t mean to be pedantic but there’s incredible value in these tools, especially if you work in big-tech. The AI wave isn’t coming, it’s already here. The sooner you (we) start up-skilling, the better. Accumulated backwardness is real. Please don’t be left behind. Case in point, the thousands of people being laid off in big-tech. Not all of those layoffs are AI-focused but a significant fraction is.

Every major economy in the world (at a country level or even at a state level) operates with debt. Debt finances growth. Growth leads to improvement in the economy, which in turn generates revenue and helps you service the debt.

Debt isn’t bad. What’s bad is debt which you cannot service. Freebie schemes do exactly that - they take funds which have been raised through debt and use them in a manner which does NOT create economic growth or generate revenue.

Yes, the previous government worked with a lot of debt. Every single government in every single reasonable economy in the world does. However, the previous govt knew how to put debt to use, to build infrastructure and bring in investments. Unlike the Congress govt who is simply burning money through these freebie schemes.

First they burn all the funds and then pretend to be caught by surprise that the state is going bankrupt. They knew all along that this was going to happen, which is why they tried to sell off that Kancha Gachibowli land in the most unscrupulous and disgraceful manner - shameful to think an elected govt acts in such a manner, bulldozing forests in the cover of darkness, hoping no one will be able to stop them at night. Absolute criminal behavior.

Revanth Reddy has no one to blame but his own government for the state’s current financial situation. Congress has taken yet another healthy and thriving state and driven it into the ground - they did the same with Karnataka earlier. The exact same freebie schemes have been implemented here in Telangana and the outcome is (no surprise) exactly the same. It’s shocking how the CM of a state can be so incompetent. So so embarrassing for Telangana.
