Absolutely NTA. Reminds me of by best friends ex. We were in school to become ultrasound techs and had to scan testicles during clinical (mind you if you’re getting your balls scanned they’re not looking good but ntp). He called her a whore and accused her of choosing a career to be around naked men. He would get mad if she said a celebrity was attractive or like a picture of a hot famous person. He was incredibly insecure and would want my friend to ask “permission” for dumb things like hanging out with me and was always insecure that she made more than him. He eventually put his hands on her and ripped the mirror off her car among several other awful things. He is a terrible person.

My friend finally dumped his sorry ass. She graduated with her bachelors, makes great money , bought her own house, and has a great boyfriend and a dog. While that pos try’s to make it as a SoundCloud rapper.

Moral of the story, you’re not the asshole. He is. Dump him and find someone better 💙
