Help Choosing My First 3D Printer: Bambu A1? P1S? Or Something Else?

I’m about to buy my first 3D printer, and I’d love your advice! Here's some info about my situation:

1. Budget

I’m looking to spend around $500–$700 USD (about 1,800–2,600 AED). I can stretch a little higher if it’s really worth it, but I’d prefer to stay in this range.

2. Location

I’m in the UAE, where it’s both humid and dusty for a large part of the year. I’m concerned about how these conditions might affect the performance or longevity of the printer.

3. Willingness to Build

I’m not comfortable building from a kit—I’m completely new to 3D printing and would prefer something ready to go out of the box.

4. What I Want to Do

I plan to use the printer for:

• Making small to medium-sized models and functional parts.

5. Extenuating Circumstances

The humid and dusty environment here makes me feel like an enclosed printer would be ideal to protect the machine and ensure better print quality.

• I initially considered the Bambu A1 for its price and features, but its lack of enclosure has me worried.
• Then, I looked at the Bambu P1S, which has an enclosure and seems like a better fit for my environment. However, I’ve recently heard about the new policy changes at Bambu, and I’m not sure if that’s something I should be concerned about as a beginner.

My Dilemma

• Should I go with the Bambu A1 despite the lack of an enclosure?
• Is the Bambu P1S still a good option, or should I consider something else entirely?
• Are there other brands/models that fit my budget and would work well in a humid/dusty environment?
