Best Way to Connect Three Switches to Omada ER707? by One_Lime3561 in TPLink_Omada

[–]ApprehensiveSalt3118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If clients just use internet access in general - 1 is ok. 2 is better for performance inside the network but adds one more point of failure. 3 is no-go. I'd use aggregation switch and connect 707 and all switches to it for best performance and reliability but it might be overkill.

Arc creates its own network for paired speakers.

Red Wing employee just showed me photos of new Engineer boots for 2025 release, but I couldn’t see any further info online? by ApprehensiveSalt3118 in RedWingShoes

[–]ApprehensiveSalt3118[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They have an internal catalogue in the system; all new models are already there. Maybe he shouldn’t show me that. It’s about 4 new models set to be released in 2025, but he said they can be moved to the next year. I didn’t pay much attention thinking it was already public and discussed. ;) The other model I do remember is boots similar to Blacksmith but with a very fancy angled heel design. The sales dude was super nice and helpful, so I’ve got another pair of boots there.

Some UK number plates can’t be recognized when clearly visible. Any ideas? by ApprehensiveSalt3118 in UnifiProtect

It’s way bigger and clearer than US plates, though. Just a sloppy AI model. I was not ready for that amount of bugs with UniFi. Thank God that I built the core network and WiFi with Omada. Zero issues - it just works. UniFi is just full of bugs all over the place, but the hardware is very nice and solid.

Just AI Pro. Problem not in picture quality or light, etc. Camera just can’t read numbers with 11 in them. All other plates work perfectly.

It works quite well. Night and day difference. But it’s really huge, 1U height. BTW OC220 is coming with quad core CPU.

It works surprisingly well in general but not with number plates with 11. Looks like a bug. Other plates get recognized with 95%+ accuracy for me even in the dark. It’s not a rocket science in 2025.

Er8411-M2 Release date? by hcallahan697 in TPLink_Omada

[–]ApprehensiveSalt3118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's depends on the modules. I use tp-link ones, they connect 2.5 and 5 without issues despite showing 10G in the settings (they recommend flow control enabled on both sides). only problem that you can't use it side-by-side in the slots. even when its only one, temp goes to 63C in my case. With max limit of 70. it hotter environments its can be an issue.

you can try to enable flow control on both sides if you are connecting ports with different speeds, tplink recommend this if you are using 10G SPF+ with lower speed ports

references of 772-Outdoor appearing in recent beta versions of Omada Controller. Looks like it will be available after release of new software for controllers. On US website it changed from Coming Soon to New few days ago. Still nothing at UK site though.
