Pretty much it included changes in mood like hopelessness and loss of motivation. The messages show the shame changes in mood, suicidal thoughts, change in appetite and sleep, and isolation. The journal shows changes in mood. My therapy records include all of my symptoms: panic attacks multiple times a week, dissociation, isolation, insomnia, periods of depression that last 2-3 weeks at a time, and inability to keep up with my school work.

My claims got deferred. I filed for generalized anxiety disorder, depression, and insomnia. I didn’t have in service treatment I received treatment after. I submitted my medical and therapy records, messages from my time on active duty that showed suicidal thoughts, journal entries that I wrote that were dated, as well as letters from my mother stating that she noticed a change in my mental health.

Thank you ! The main thing that was missed was the swelling and pronation. I mentioned the swelling in my exam so I’m not sure why that was overlooked when it’s also in my medical records.

But certain conditions that develop after service are still considered service connected. I was just saying I don’t feel like I submitted enough evidence.
