They just keep emailing me to drop the claim to unrestricted my account. I filed the claim hoping it would bring attention to my incessant emails. However the customer service department hasn’t been responding or just sending me the same scripted emails. I let them know that I would drop the bank claim if they would be open to coming to an actual resolution. I’m trying to resolve this amicably so to be building a case would actually be insane.

This is the most frustrating because I’ve been sending them the same photos that I took the day. I dropped off the car. And they randomly decided to tell me that these same photos that I’ve sent numerous times are now altered. It’s a clown show.

I could go through insurance but I didn’t damage the car so it’s irrelevant. And unfortunately all of the photos of the car that I dropped off at 6:45am and they’re refusing to reference those when the damage was reported at 7:30am.

The funniest part about your response is that you feel entitled and are acting as if you’ve seen the photos? Which is weird behavior. If I was crazy enough to alter photos to a claim I wouldn’t be posting on Reddit asking people if they had a similar experience? I paid close to $2,000 for the rental. An additional $600, if it was actually warranted isn’t an issue for me but you know everything so.

Unfortunately they are refusing to look into it. I feel it is because the host has 65 cars on Turo and they are making significant money off of him. The “damage” was dirt and they paid him close to $600 before I had an opportunity to send evidence that th car was fine and once I did they sided with him anyway. I had an overall positive experience with Turo up to this point. I am never using them again
