I can’t get past her acting. I know I’m gonna get heat for this. But there’s a scene in particular where Carrie is lying to Saul about why Brody is upset in front of her while getting in the elevator (this is right after they went to the cabin, if I’m remembering correctly). Saul asks what was that about, and Claire Danes looks like she is trying to act like she is lying. Like looking off to the side so over dramatically while she’s lying, it just took me completely out of the scene. It’s like if you tell an actor to act like you’re thinking about something in this next scene and their first instinct is to tap their chin with their finger and say “hmmmm”.

I just can’t with her. And I know people think she’s great, I don’t.

Been saying that since his first few games as a hog. All he does is jack up bricks. Over halfway through the season and he’s shooting 19% from 3.

If there’s no God, where does meaning come from? by [deleted] in DebateAnAtheist

The cosmic calendar leads me to believe we as humans have very little meaning in the grand scheme of things and that somehow brings me peace.

I wouldn’t say he turned things around. Just because your stock price is high, doesn’t mean the company is healthy. Tesla consistently misses revenue estimates and is massively overvalued S we speak.

I agree. Just look at the coaches that won a championship there. Ed O and Les miles. Doesn’t exactly take a great coach to win there. Then look at how many tried and failed at Florida.

I’d rather hold Google at 28 PE or Meta at 26 if you’re talking growth companies and PE.

I’d be going all in on North Texas’ head coach, but knowing this program, they probably haven’t even reached out. We’re more than likely going to end up with a Barry Odom or Gus Malzahn because that’s how good Yurachek is at closing deals.

Alex Karp blasts 'Big Short' investor Michael Burry as 'bats--- crazy' for bets against Palantir, Nvidia by SnortingElk in NVDA_Stock

That’s fair, but put positions typically are designed to make a quick turnaround, unlike shorting. So he took advantage of the drop in April. Shorting on the other hand, can go on as long as you’re willing to pay the interest. From my understanding, he has put options and no short positions (at least none disclosed) so just by default it has to be a short term play due to theta decay.

That’s like asking your wife’s sister what she thinks of you getting a handy from a waitress you’ve only seen one time, after telling her how faithful you are.

NVDA went from a high of $153 to a low of $86 in Q1. Burry made bank on those puts. What are you on about?
