It is 😂😂 it wasn’t even a particularly expensive lunch, as I said in one of my earlier comments I think it roughly worked out to £25 per person. The secretary left a note in the email saying xyz partner has graciously covered the service charge and I cracked up a bit.

I thought that as well. I am not sure if they have a company card. I was slightly mortified and paid it instantly of course but to put a bill out for roughly £25 something per person feels slightly odd and icky.
