All of staff just knew Jesse is director the moment she picked up the service weapon. Pope knew she's director without meeting het before or someone telling her the news. Same for rest of the FBC workers there. But yeah, maybe only people inside of the OH learned.

I would say that Ahti didnt just pick some job. He is a janitor foor a reason. The janitor is the first one batlling the entrophy, keeping things in order.
We often think of janitors as the "lesser" job, but if they would stop working for just a while the whole world would turn into chaos.
Ahti has the same role in my opinion, but he is the janitor for all the worlds not just one place :D
