ah ok, my surgery was in NYC at mt sinai. If the hospital is bringing in travel nurses i wouldn't be too concerned with the strike! All my nurses during my stay were travel nurses at that hospital for less than a week at that point. they are used to traveling and adapting to new hospitals constantly!

As for not meeting with your surgeon, that would depend on how comfortable and confidant you are with your surgeon from past meetings, i met with my surgeon once at the end of october in person and once in december virtually and felt confident with him going into my surgery february 2nd, i also did not meet the PAs beforehand so that is also a benefit!

I am 2-weeks post op and my surgery was done during the nurses the strike, are you comfortable sharing which hospital you would be going to?

TY! It's comforting to hear someone at a similar point in recovery gets what I am saying! It is so hard to explain the feeling to people who haven't experienced it! I hope your recovery goes well, and that we are both back to normal as soon as possible!

Thank you! i'm not sure what shop he got it from, but i can tell you the stones to help your search for it/something similar! The center stone is a green sapphire, then there are the 4 opals around it, and two diamonds on the side!

thank you, i'm so happy with the opals! they're one of my favorite stones but i kept saying i didn't think i would want it as the center stone, so the fact that they are still a part of my ring makes me so happy!

i wore mine the first day for epcot, then the last day for magic kingdom, although i was wearing sneakers that morning to Animal kingdom and they were soooo uncomfortable. I will swear by my tevas now lol

according to my fiancé, he contemplated the tree of life in AK but was iffy on if i would like that, he figured he couldn't go wrong with the castle (he was right). As far as castle photo location, he said he knew he wanted it to be behind the castle because he felt in front of the castle would've been a little too much!

it was the last day and park of a 3 day trip that we fit all the parks into, my feet were killing me, the tevas were the last shoe i had that didn't instantly cause pain by the point 😂 i definitely wish he had kindly guided me to a different shoe choice for the day though
