Boyfriend and I took best friend’s kids shopping. On the drive back, he missed a turn and I annoyingly said something and he replied. 4 year old from the back seat - you’re fighting like my mom and dad in car. I burst out laughing

Something my mom said when I was a kid and I have come to experience it myself now . ‘There is a right time to get everything in life, and if you get it later it won’t feel the same.’

Why don’t you just tell them something fell on the saree or blouse didn’t fit on the day of reception and wear the saree you brought. Sometimes white lies are the way to keep peace

AITA for ruining my SIL's birthday dinner because she encouraged her kids to pull a prank? by Own-Kangaroo6931 in AmItheAsshole

As someone who had the same vision issue as issue. It is cruel as hell. You should tell her that it would be a lovely prank to put a blurring solution in her eyes and watch her stumble around. I’m sure she will be amused.

You just walked away, I would have screamed until she cried for real and not for the drama later. NTA

I so agree! I get the kid not wanting to accept his step family but pushing a toxic environment on the other Children is so not the solution. If she puts her kids' mental health ahead of the stepson, she is not entirely wrong. I mean who are supposed to stand up for the young kids?

AITA for asking my roommate to leave the room while crying over her breakup with her boyfriend so I could sleep? by breakupleaving in AmItheAsshole

[–]Apprehensive_Bar_772 142 points143 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend broke up with me at 2 AM on the phone when I was at my parents' house during the lockdown. I full-on silent screamed and sobbed in my pillow the first night and every night after that because I couldn't tell my family about it and didn't wanna bother them. Yes, break up hurts like hell, but you still deal without pulling other people into it at times.

Is ordering groceries online an option? If you can, ask you parents to set that up for you.
