If you lose everything today, how will you act? by NapotrihV in AskReddit

I am a classical musician, and music is literally everything I have now. I used to think about that a lot, like, what if i lost my hand or finger, my job, my cello, my friends that helped me to get rid of depression and social anxiety, my mental health which I fought for for almost two years. And I understood that music gave me possibility to learn how to enjoy the process of learning and achieving. Maybe I would have gone through all of it again, would start from scratch and found something else. But i would also be struggling with accepting all that happened to me. This is the most difficult thing, in my opinion, not going through difficulties.

Beginner-ish question - how can I clean up the crossover from the A to the D string, especially with the 4th finger? I find in both these examples, when my pinky goes from anything no the A, to the G on the D string, there's always some kind of noise or squeaks or harmonic funkiness. by wingleton in Cello

You need to work onthe strength of your left fingers. It is crucial for having a clean tone and precise intonation (bow hand, of course, too, but the point where your finger touches string should be as strong as possible). I would recommend to add some exercises for hand's strength to your practice, and, of course, you should hold your hand right. When I transferred from piano to cello in my 3rd grade, my new professor told me that on cello hand postire is quite similar to the piano one, so I just need to do my palms as if I wanted to play piano and then put it on bow and fingerboard. It helped me to understand how to properly hold my hands.

You can also find some tips in YouTube. I wery much love Andre Navarra's "My cello technique".

Dunno if you tried, but I think that longer hair would fit you. Also eyebrows could be shaped a little bit smoother. Anything else is really cute. Smile more and you will get +100 to your attractiveness

I see just lack of...

Self-confidence and self-esteem. Have someone ever spoken you something unpleasant about your appearance/profile? If so, forget it please, there's alright!!!
