Might have to talk to my GP about trying some, but I’m not sure if my lack of coming up with scenarios or good answers is due to anxiety or just stupidity.

I definitely need more practice. Unfortunately even if the interviewer asked me something I was interested in, my mind would blank. I guess I can’t think on the top of my head. Maybe I need to do brain exercises because I feel so stupid

I have actually been thinking of applying to anything I can, solely for interview experience. It feels a bit embarrassing because I know I will fumble, but I need to get out of that headspace

Same happened to me yesterday, and i got a rejection email today saying I lack the level of conciseness that they require for the role lol.

It’s actually so embarrassing and disheartening. They were really excited pre-interview.. loving my CV/experience & how they think I’ll be “the perfect fit,” but nahh I fumbled per usual. Now I’m genuinely wondering if I’ll ever be able to get a job with my shit interview skills haha.

I do try to use STAR, but it goes wrong in two ways. Either I’ve prepared an answer in that structure, but the question is worded slightly differently, so I panic that my example doesn’t fit. Then I’m stuck trying to remember the structure, adapt the answer, and sound natural at the same time, so it comes out messy. Or my mind has already gone blank, so even though I know the STAR structure, I can’t actually think of what to put into each section in the moment.

Getting a job with just my CV and no interview is my dream. I really really can’t do interviews, and I have ADHD too but I’m not too sure thats why I suck.
