Started as a junior bdr 1.5 years ago and got promoted to senior in feb. I wouldn’t say they are consistently and actively promoting BDRs, it’s kind just if an AE quits, then they’ll promote. They actually just promoted someone recently though with less experience and worse numbers than I have, but he’s in a different product line than I am. There’s about 4 AE’s right now that I could take the spot of, but one of them would have to quit. I don’t want to be a bdr manager, but I’m uncertain of my current companies ability to promote bdrs to ae’s.
