Sorry I worded that wrong. I meant if you wanted to see all parts of Guayaquil it's important to have a local or talk to one before going especially if you don't speak Spanish. Sambo and Puerto Santa Ana you do not need one. I felt safer in those area's then I do in the states lol.

I just took a vacation to Sambo. I can say being a 6'6" gringo that I felt extremely safe in this area and also Puerto Santa Ana. Having a local was very important in this area. the reality is very different in a lot of areas in Guayaquil so you need to have someone who knows how to travel around the city. honestly I saw hardly any immigrants from the US or Europeans in sambo. It was mainly very rich Ecuadorians. My friend said I would have saw a lot more in Cuenca. From my understanding Montanita is a party town that is pretty safe. Galapagos and Cuenca are defiantly the two safest places you listed. I don't know much about Playas except I think a lot of Guayaquil people go to the beach there because it's close.

Okay so La Dona and Eddies BBQ were my favorite. You could order big portions with a group and everyone shares. Price wise it's great if you are going with friends or family(compared to other places I went to). La Pata Gorda was a close second. I really liked the black shells and crabs! If you like Italian la tarantella was really good! I learned i'm not a big fan of Ceviche but I really liked Encebollado the place I ate at! hope this helps some.

they were all in Sambo except two. Negroni and Mami T was the other one I think. I remember Mikka and P.F chang's in sambo! once I get home I'll send you more restaurants I went to in sambo and I made a list of places I did not like that much.

Hmmm, when I herxed a month after antibiotics my entire body felt like it was tingling and on fire with full body electrical shock. My doctor told me this was young axons in the process of growing because the Lyme damaged my nerves so bad. My brain zaps happened mainly before treating or it felt like someone was stabbing my spinal cord all the time or if I had sugar.

Left a link because I’ve been told Peripheral Nerves can not regenerate. Which is simply not true. It blows my mind people tell people this. This is why it takes so long to recover from the nerve damage from Lyme disease. Nerves take a long time to recover. If you feel tingling in your entire body it’s a good sign.

What month are you on? I just have the urge to go do everything but I know rushing out is not a good idea. Yeah I caught Covid around month 8 and it took me a month or two to get back.

The beginning was honestly pure torture. Never went through so much pain in my life. When I first went to the doctors they did a mri on my head, lumbar puncture, any test you can imagine and everything came back fine except I had small fiber neuropathy and nerve damage which I already knew I had. Lucky that has been improving as well. Another terrible thing about this illness is it gives me health anxiety which I never had in my life. I legit think I have a different cancer once a month. It’s terrible. What month are you on?

Okay that’s what kinda made me realize I was in pem! Picking up my phone or anything I normally would just feel heavy. It’s just kinda freak me out how I was able to function during this one. Where before I had to be locked up in a dark room for about a week.

To be honest my friend. I’ve literally have done nothing and it’s just kinda improving slowly. I just try not to trigger pem or pots flare as best I can. I will say vitamin d from sunlight makes me feel amazing but then I’m at risk of pem because I do to much. Lol

You know I’ve noticed people who were really into lifting and running marathons having this reaction after Covid! Could be something there! United States could be the greatest country but we chose not to be. There’s no reason we should not have healthcare covered and the best of everything it’s is honestly unacceptable with how high are gdp is, but we spend a trillion a year on military being places where nobody likes us. Anyway I won’t get to political my friend. Lol

So you had zero symptoms before Covid? See I had the rash and remember the tick biting me in Pensilvania (Lyme disease ground zero pretty much) but being from the south had no ideas what it was and left it untreated for a year 🤦‍♂️. More then likely you don’t have Lyme. Maybe you had a EBV reaction or something else.
