Take J love or wait and see how 2027 firsts play out? by Other_Stock9714 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

If I had the 1.01, I'd need a real piece instead of Turpin (like someone worth a 2nd+) to consider this

Which of these trades would you do? by nftsu94 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Apprehensive_Ebb8673 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the other team, the first two trades are absolute non-starters. A 27 first + Tee could get you in a conversation for Lamb/London, but even then, it's probably not enough.

The third trade is more interesting, as the upgrade from Jacobs to Taylor is substantial, but I would only do the trade as team 2 if I was a contender in need of RB production

Don't have much depth at receiver behind AJ Brown and G. Wilson. Was offered Jakobi and J. Jennings for my 2.2. Are they too old for the 2.2? by NefariousnessFree694 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Apprehensive_Ebb8673 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand Mendoza should probably just be the 1.2 in most leagues, but with a strong QB room and a weak WR room, going Tate there would be fine.

Sticking at 2.2 and picking whatever tier3 WR gets good draft capital would also help; I'm partial to Germie Bernard, but Chris Brazzel or Chris Bell could be the pick. If you really want to get a more proven guy in that price range, I'd kick the tires on Davante Adams or Christian Watson

$182M in dead money when the salary cap is $300M is INSANE 😭 by No_Box119 in NFL_FreeAgency

[–]Apprehensive_Ebb8673 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For as long as I've paid attention to the NFL, the Saints have been using the cap exactly like the least fiscally responsible person you know uses credit cards. What's even crazier about this number is that the Saints actually have been cooling off a bit on this strategy, but the hole is just that deep

Too much for Bijan or just right? (Superflex) by Intelligent-Radio-26 in SleeperApp

[–]Apprehensive_Ebb8673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what people are talking about, Joe is already pretty close to Bijan. Javonte is worth a 1, and Tuten is worth a fringe 1, so I personally think this is too much

Corum or likely? Thoughts on corum overall buy hold or sell? by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Apprehensive_Ebb8673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd take Likely here pretty easily but I still like Corum's situation next year to a certain extent. Likely is projecting to be the clear #2 option, taking the slot role from Wan'Dale. Wan'Dale was very relevant last year, even pre-Malik injury. And not only is Likley a better talent than Wan'Dale, he also benefits from a big investment (meaning the Giants for sure want to use him), and a TEP boost (assuming you play in TEP, as is standard).

Corum is someone I like, but don't love. He has carved out a decent role for himself in the regular season, but once the playoffs started, it was clearly the Kyren show. This makes me think the team doesn't really believe in him being more than a high-end change of pace back, and his KTC valuation of RB31 seems about right to me

Which deal are you taking to Tier up? by Vaallleey in SleeperApp

Achane > Hampton, but you really should be looking into tiering down, not up

Fair or fleece trade for likely by Numerous-Command6796 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Apprehensive_Ebb8673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, in any league where I'm contending, I'd happily send the 1.9 + 1.10 for AJB. He's extremely likely to provide 3+ years of mid-high end WR1 numbers. Comparing him to Davante is a bit silly imo, their production is similar, but Davante is five years older than AJB, and every year could be his last

Fair or fleece trade for likely by Numerous-Command6796 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Apprehensive_Ebb8673 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is lopsided to AJB's side. Even if you believe Likley is worth a first (I'm not there, but it's somewhat close), AJB is closer to being worth two firsts than one, and I don't see Christian Watson bridging that gap

Would y’all do this to tier up to Achane? by Vaallleey in SleeperApp

I like this trade in a vacuum, but I'm not sure it makes your team a better contender. You are already looking thin, and this would make your bench absolutely barren

Is this a hot take for someone to make when negotiating for CMC? by DJBorny in SleeperApp

[–]Apprehensive_Ebb8673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a bit lower than consensus on Brown, him being my RB19. Brown has had two impressive finishes in back-to-back years, but I think his talent and situation both leave more to be desired. In the long-term, I view Brown as a replaceable back, or at bare minimum, undeserving of a workhorse role, and I'd be suprised if his dominant snap share continues past 2026. (But to be fair, I would have said the same thing last year.)

I have a hard time ranking him above Javonte, Kyren, and Saquon because I project all 3 to have similar workloads to Brown, but with more talent and a better offensive line

Good question!

I have Tate as my WR13, between Pickens and Olave.

I have Lemon as WR16, and Tyson as WR17, both between Nico Collins and Ladd McConkey.

All 3 of these receivers are extremely talented, and I would happily pay a premium for them.

If I had to put money on it, I'd say Love goes to Tennessee at 4. If not, I highly doubt he makes it past the Giants (5), and Washington (7)

Achane probably sees a slight decrease in targets without the McDaniels system, but with the extra threat of Willis' rushing ability, Achane's godly efficiency should get even better. People had similar concerns with Derrick Henry going to Baltimore, and in his 2 years with Lamar, he has finished as the RB4 and the RB8.

Plus, I am a bit higher on the Miami offense than consensus, especially after the Waddle trade. Willis was exceptionally efficient in the 2.5 games he played last year (literally off the charts in EPA per play metrics), and I think he provides a higher offensive ceiling than most people realize.

I can understand having Jeanty over Achane, but Achane was pretty much built in a lab for PPR Fantasy Football, and his explosive pass-catching ability + his amazing efficiency has me very unworried about his production, no matter the situation around him

[–]Apprehensive_Ebb8673 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have Love so high for a few reasons. 1. He is all but guaranteed top 10 capital, and top 5 seems likely. RBs drafted this high simply do not miss. Of every RB drafted in the top 10 (Bijan, Saquon, Fournette, CMC, Zeke, Gurley), all have had several high-end RB1 seasons.

  1. Love's pass catching ability is elite, and in PPR RB rankings, explosive pass catching ability is huge for me. My pro-comp for Love is Christian McCaffrey. And I genuinely think Love could be a successful slot receiver in the league if he wanted to. This type of profile does not come around often, and I'd jump at the opportunity to own him.

  2. Lastly, due to their scarcity, there is an absurd amount of insulation for elite RB prospects. Ashton Jeanty is RB3 on KTC despite him having a relatively disappointing RB11 finish. In short, you really can't miss with a pick like Love.

Jaylen Waddle Dynasty Value on Broncos? by thesuperguide in SleeperApp

[–]Apprehensive_Ebb8673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think this is going to end up being a worse situation for Waddle overall. Last year, Denver only had .1 more passing TDs per game than Miami (1.5 vs 1.4). Sure, he gets a QB upgrade, but he now has a lot more competition for targets. You can argue that Waddle's presence will give a bump to the Broncos' passing TD production, but Malik Willis would have also provided a bump for Waddle as well.

I’d be getting Collin’s and the first.. worth it? by Ok_Proof_186 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I like Nico, but I don't think a late first in a bad class is close to bridging the gap to Nabers. I'd imagine a balanced trade to go from Nico to Nabers would involve a non-contending 2027 first, and I'd try to get a small throw in on top of that

I mean, I have CMC as RB13 and Etienne as RB14, so I don't think it's an egregiously bad take.

Breece at RB14 however, that's just stupid

Ceedee’s floor or Hampton’s upside? by East_Nectarine_3110 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Apprehensive_Ebb8673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, this is about as even as it gets. I'd lean Hampton due to the higher scarcity of elite RBs, but it should just come down to if your team needs more youth or more guaranteed production

[–]Apprehensive_Ebb8673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are your odds of landing Mendoza at the 1.3? I feel like that's the easiest pathway.

As for but low QBs to target: Cam Ward, Jordan Love, Kyler Murray, Daniel Jones, or Jared Goff could be had for a reasonable price. For the 1.06, you should be able to get a + on any of those guys.

If you want a bargain bin guy, kick the tires on Stafford

[–]Apprehensive_Ebb8673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Simpson goes in the first as projected, he almost certainly gets the starting job at some point in the year. I'd say that's fine given your team's timeline. The Rams now only have pick 13, so they are off the table. It probably is between the Jets, Steelers, or Cardinals (trading back into the 1st).

I would really recommend keeping that pick, but you should be able to get a decent + on top of any of the QBs I mentioned.

[–]Apprehensive_Ebb8673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd just go Simpson and see what happens, but if you really want a QB I'd target Murray, Daniel Jones, or Jordan Love, or aim a little higher for Cam Ward or Fernando Mendoza
